L'articolo a mio avviso non e' male per essere un articolo generico , pero' il titolo di tipo un po' " scandalistico "
L'esplosione "Cannibale" sul sole potrebbe interrompere i sistemi GPS GIOVEDI' quando miliardi di tonnellate di plasma e particelle vengono scagliati sulla Terra
ha poi provocato alcune vivaci discussioni sul piano tecnico .
Alla fine mi e' stato chiesto di mettere un po' di ordine , cosa che non amo ,perche' ci sono temi che non possono essere banalizzati .
Alla fine ho accettato di fare una ricerca in rete per fornire dei link a documenti leggibili dai piu' e di effettuare un video "casareccio" spiegando tramite una animazione vera di oggi del NOAA ( sito ovviamente di riferimento peer quanto riguarda le emissioni del sole e relativi effetti ) per cercare di spiegare il piu' possibile un solo argomento e cioe' quali sono i parametri che influiscono sull' attenuazione dovuta allo strato D e che possono provocare in (rari) casi delle interruzioni dei collegamenti ionosferici in HF a noi tanto cari .

DJ’s line up for a celebration of offshore broadcasting Radio Mi Amigo is set to return to the airwaves on 13th and 14th August in conjunction with Carillon Wellbeing Radio.
Further to their previous successful radio broadcasts, this year’s 2-day Pirate Radio event on Harwich Quay has attracted a host of DJ’s who are coming from near and far to transmit from the restored Lightvessel LV18 as a tribute to the 60’s offshore radio stations. This year’s on-air team, headed by the Programme Director and Trustee Garry Lee, will bring back the popular sound of the Offshore Pirate stations that broadcast from just off our coast and were served from the Ha’penny Pier, Harwich, which is the permanent berth of LV18. Joining the crew will be two DJs from America and music connoisseurs, ex Pirate radio and Radio 1 DJ, Keith Skues, ex BBC Suffolk presenter and current Radio Caroline DJ, Stephen ‘Foz’ Foster.
The broadcast will run 24 hours a day, from 12 o’clock, midnight on the Saturday morning till 12 o’clock midnight on the Sunday night. The broadcast will be available on the Carillon radio website at www.carillonradio.com and may also be heard from their transmitter in the NW Leicestershire on 1476AM / medium wave.
This tribute to the Offshore Pirate Radio Stations will celebrate the likes of Radio Caroline, Radio London and several others that appeared off the coast of Harwich in the 1960’s bringing about a revolution in radio broadcasting. Following the previous Pirate Radio broadcasts from LV18, which attracted thousands of visitors to the area, Radio Mi Amigo will celebrate the watery wireless days from the studio, located on the bridge of the Lightvessel. Further to previous year’s events, LV18 will
broadcast from her permanent berth by the Ha’penny Pier, Harwich, enabling members of the public to not only visit the classic vessel on the Sunday, but to meet the DJ’s. Broadcasting from the classic heritage vessel LV18, which featured in the film ‘The Boat that Rocked’, Radio Mi Amigo will bring back the sounds of the 60’s and 70’s, the golden era of the Pirate Stations. Visitors will be able to visit the ship on Sunday 15th and view the new ‘Pirate Radio Exhibition’, which has been financed by Harwich Haven Authority via the Essex Community Foundation. The exhibition features new interactive Audio/Visual systems throughout the vessel and
new interpretation signage. HISTORY
In the summer of 1964, the boring world of British broadcasting was rocked to its
foundations by the launch of offshore radio stations Radio Atlanta, Radio Caroline, Radio City and Radio London.
On the weekend of 13th and 14th of August, a unique 2-day event will be taking place in Harwich and the Tendring sunshine coast in Essex, UK. The restored heritage Lightvessel LV18 will be hosting a radio broadcast and exhibition celebrating the Offshore Pirate radio broadcasts from the ‘pop ships’ which were anchored just off the coast of Harwich. Tendring was very much the centre of these activities at this time with thousands of tourists sitting on the beaches of Clacton, Walton, Frinton, Harwich and Brightlingsea, listening to their favourite DJ’s on transistor radios. On August 14th this year it will be 54 years since the government closed down most of the Pirate Radio stations with the Marine Offences Act, as depicted in the film ‘The Boat that Rocked’ of 2009, which featured LV18 as part of the filming in Portland, Dorset.
The Pharos Trust has hosted many very successful 'Pirate' Radio events on LV18 and, along with Pirate BBC Essex over the last 20 years, have attracted thousands of visitors to the town. These previous broadcasts have featured Johnnie Walker, Emperor Rosko, Dave Cash, Keith Skues, Tony Blackburn and many other ‘pirate radio’ celebrities. Recentemente ci sono stati alcuni scambi di elucubrazioni sul segnale di modulazione in Banda Base , generato tramite il software WSJT-X .
L'assunto era che trattandosi di un segnale eventualmente multiportante , le portanti potessero in certi momenti sommarsi in fase e generare dei picchi ( un po' come accade nelle modulaziono Ortogonali OFDM ) .
Leggendo le specifiche , invece pareva trattarsi di un segnale ad inviluppo costante .
Per vederci chiaro , ho installato il software e l'ho collegato prima l'uscita della scheda audio del PC

ho avuto modo di re-incontrare molti validi amici , ma anche di incontrarne di nuovi eventualmente solo conosciuti di nome o neanche ( per demerito mio ) ..
Tra gli altri Gianni Chiodo , che come altri rappresenta un "pozzo di scienza " ed esperienza nel campo della progettazione , sperimentazione e collaudo ed assieme a tanti altri , come Alberto Ferraris , Domenico Franchino ( RIP ) e' uno dei padri del magnifico software SATSAGEN

che assieme ad un ADALM PLUTO e poche altre cose permette faville sia come collegamenti che come misure da 40 a 6000 MHz ed oltre .
Per farla breve , esiste una lista su Whatsapp di circa 180 appassionati che si scambiano informazioni .
Gianni e' uno di quelli che costruisce tantissimo , ma non pubblica .
Conclusione , ci siamo messi d'accordo che pubblichero' qui il materiale che mi passa , in maniera un po' grezza , perche' anche personalmente sono sovente con saldatore e attrezzi in mano .
Meglio che niente . Facciamo girare un po' di cose interessanti .

Mi e' venuto ieri a trovare Davide Cardesi I1DDS , mio coetaneo con sui ci collegammo per la prima volta a 14-16 anni da pirati CB .
Non ci vedevamo comunque da circa trent'anni ....
Gli ho chiesto di portare il suo apparato transverter per i 24 GHz per provare il brivido di una gamma da me mai impiegata .
Personalmente mi sono dedicato ai puntamenti a mano perche' conosco le direzioni dal mio QTH , Davide stava nel laboratorio adiacente a tetto/terrazzo con una chiavetta RTL USB con TCXO ed HDSDR sintonizzato in gamma 2m .
Ricevere i due beacon possibili : IZ1OTT dal Col dell' Aquila e IQ1CPB da Oropa e' stato di una facilita' imbarazzante con il trombino da 20 dB e l'apparato tenuto in mano .
Beacon a 10 GHz ricevibili facilmete qui da me non ce ne sono . Per ora mi sono dilettato con i radar CWFM ( come documentato sul Blog ) ed a ricevere gli OL a 10.6 GHz degli impianti riceventi TVSAT che possono essere usati come beacon per verificare i guadagni delle antenne ....
Finche' non abbiamo sentito il CW avevamo idea che fossero due segnali spuri generati dal mio laboratorio , tanto erano forti .
E' stata un' esperienza interessante e per me nuova che forse mi fara' pensare a qualche autrosotruzione in merito ( nei cassetti qualcosa ho accumulato ...) .
Le frequenze avevano una certa deriva e cio' mi ha fatto ricordare quanto in HF si andava a VFO .
Qui ci sono i quarzi , ma 24 GHz sono tanti .....

il ciclo solare n.25 parrebbe al momento piu " robusto " di quanto indicato dalle previsioni :
In pratica abbiamo gia' raggiunti i valori che la predizione indicava che avremmo raggiunto tra tre anni
Per chi volesse visualizzare le curve dei cicli con qualsiasi scala temporale ( a partire dal 1750 !) , puo' farlo dinamicamente al seguente collegamento :
In occasione dei 40anni della nostra associazione si è deciso di donare a tutti i Soci AIR una chiavetta USB personalizzata contenente i numeri di radiorama dal 2004 fino al numero 116 della versione on line, in formato pdf e con circa 10.000 pagine ricche di ogni tipo di informazione sul radioascolto e la radio a 360°.
La chiavetta USB “AIR 40° anniversario” sarà appunto inviata a chi rinnoverà la propria quota associativa per il 2022 ed a chi si assocerà per la prima volta, fino ad esaurimento scorte.
