Doppler and FMCW Radar experiments at 10 GHz - Improvements

After the first test with a horn antenna , published at the link .  I have increased the range of this radar , using a prime focus dish of 0.8m

For having the long distance echoes in the audio band I have reduced the sweep frequency .

The hardware and antenna are in the following pictures :

I have then added a clinometer on the feeder to easily adjust the 0° elevation

I was able to receive eight different echoes from the horizont .

Two of them was clearly identified in the following structures .

The maximum range was estimated with Google Earth at around 2.4 km .
