Veteran Sound Day 2023 will be arranged on Saturday, September 2 at 10.00–15.00 in the Hörby Radio Association's premises and in the park at the Kulturhuset in Östra Sallerup, Hörby. See the association's website www.horbyradioforening.se for directions.
Program:
10.00 Viewing of the Hörby Radio Association's museum.
10.00–12.00 The tender auction of own and submitted goods is in progress.
11.00 "Ladies Program" Guided tour of the 17th-century park. See www.karlxistenar.se alternatively guided tour of the Kulturhuset's school museum, shoemaking museum, baker's cottage etc. www.kulturhusetosallerup.com
Cozy gathering with the possibility to buy coffee in the Kulturhuset. Sausage grilling in the park. Display of exhibited "treasures" in the exhibition hall.
13.00 Lecture "Paraply-Mårten and his radio broadcasts in Malmö", Anders Widell
1.30 pm Lecture "Early Swedish radio" Peter Elg
14.00 Lecture "German communication technology during the Second World War" Leif Persson
Barter market/ tailgate auction all day. Those of you who have audio gadgets, e.g. radio, gramophone, tape recorder, telephony, telegraphy, amateur radio and closely related to sell are welcome to exchange or sell. We arrange this directly from the tailgate of the car. It is possible to book a "rainproof" place in one of the tents.
No registration is required. Free entrance! No parking fees!
