Bande tropicali avare

Ormai è molto tempo che le bande tropicali mi si dimostrano piuttosto avare. In particolare di stazioni latinoamericane. In parte sono in via di desertificazione, ma anche la propagazione è scarsa. Comunque una spazzolata ce la do sempre. Pazienza e perseveranza... chissà che prima o poi non torni ad ascoltare qualcosa di più interessante. (Nell'immagine The Voice of Armenia starting)

Bande tropicali in estinzione

Analisi delle bande tropicali - 2011 :
Anker Petersen, DXer di lungo corso, editore del quindicinale DX-Window per conto del Danish Short Wave International Club (DSWCI) e del Domestic Broadcasting Survey (DBS) anche quest'anno ha messo a punto un rapporto sull'andamento delle bande tropicali. La tendenza è ormai da lunghi anni la stessa: la diminuzione costante delle stazioni radio in banda tropicale. Un fenomeno che comunque riguarda tutte le onde corte, che potremmo dire sono in via di estinzione. La sua analisi non include stazioni pirata e clandestine.

Dai numeri appare evidente il declino delle onde corte in queste bande. Questo anche perché è cresciuta la diffusione delle emittenti in FM e degli altri media, dalla TV a Internet. Unica eccezione il Pacifico dove sono comparse alcune nuove piccole stazione private a bassa potenza.
